you are enough. you don't need to try and impress those around you or compare yourself. if there's one thing I've learnt, it's that comparison will rob you of your true potential and what YOU can give to this world as an individual. our world is so full of images of things that we should be and most of the time it's negative. for the girls, we get told we have to be stick-thin to be beautiful, wear the latest makeup to be adequate, and that there's something wrong with us if we're not comparing ourselves to our friends. for the guys, if you don't have a rockin' body you're not attractive, or that you're only masculine and deemed worthy by your friends if you don't stand up for your true values in public.
whatever situation you find yourself in today, know that you have EVERYTHING you need inside of you to overcome it. you're enough, you don't need that drink to look cooler, you don't need that drug to feel better, you don't need that guy to tell you you're beautiful to actually believe it. YOU ARE ENOUGH. say it over and over until you believe it yourself.
